“ Charmin Café in Crosby, Texas was a pleasant surprise. Again it was another one of these very nice restaurants set in a strip shopping center that's easy to overlook. Charming Café has both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. They sushi of several varieties; but they also have eggrolls, sweet-and-sour chicken and king pao chicken. The place is small, but not tiny. It's very unpretentious, but comforting. My wife had a selection off the lunch menu that featured, sweet-and-sour chicken, salad, fried rice , egg roll and crab puffs all for under nine dollars. I had the spicy Kung pao chicken, that is a house specialty with steamed rice. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive and the food came out hot and quickly . I was so impressed with the place, I got to go menu for future visits. ”
